Odyssey began as a dream in the hearts of Zeb & Leah Greenfield. They desired to see a church in the Seattle area that represents the beautiful cultural diversity that exists in this community. Jesus left his followers with a mission before he ascended back into heaven, to make disciples of all nations. Not only is this a biblical expectation for churches, but for us in South King County it is a geographical reality. We want to see people come together and be united by faith in Jesus, from across cultural, ethnic, and language barriers. We believe that communities are better when we come together and learn from each other’s differences.

After living in the area for 7 years, Zeb & Leah were sent by the people and leadership of Highlands Community Church in Renton to launch Odyssey Church in the Tukwila community in the fall of 2025. Since our inception, this community has been designed to be a place where people are known, celebrated, and inspired. Odyssey is the kind of church where you can belong before you believe. You don’t have to have all your questions answered, or have your faith journey figured out. We are just real people, with real problems, who believe in a real God.

We believe that you are a part of this story that God is writing in the community of Tukwila, SeaTac, and beyond. We strongly believe that regardless of where you find yourself, geographically, economically, culturally, or spiritually, Odyssey Church is a place where you are welcome and where you can belong.
